Terms of use
Pass 4 (pass4.ca) is exam prep for the 4th Class Power Engineer exams. It is run by 1469426 BC LTD, Fort St. John, British Columbia. These terms apply when you use Pass 4. Using the site means you agree to them.
01 Your account
You sign in with a link we email you, so your account is only as safe as your email. An account is for one person.
02 Part A and Part B
Part A is free. Part B needs a paid plan. Prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax, and applicable tax is added at checkout. Stripe takes the payment, and we never see your card.
- Monthly renews each month until you cancel. Cancel any time and keep Part B until the end of the month you paid for. Monthly has no refunds.
- 6 Month Access and the 3-month extension are paid once and do not renew. You get a full refund if you ask within 14 days of paying.

03 What you may do with the content
The questions, explanations, lectures, podcasts, cheatsheets and diagrams belong to 1469426 BC LTD. Your plan lets you use them for your own study. You may keep the cheatsheet PDFs and podcast downloads for that purpose.
You may not:
- copy, publish, share, sell or otherwise give the content to anyone else;
- use bots, scripts, scrapers or other automated tools to read or download the site;
- use the content to build, improve or train any other product, course, question bank or AI model;
- get around the paywall, sign-in, usage limits or other controls.
Pass 4 limits how much one account can open in a day. The limit is far above normal study.
04 Ending an account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time with the "Request account deletion" link on the account page, or by emailing support@pass4.ca.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 3, or that we reasonably believe is being used to copy the content. If an account on a paid plan is closed for breaking section 3, no refund is given.
05 Accuracy
We work to keep the content accurate and current. Mistakes can still happen, and the official codes, standards and exam materials always take precedence. Pass 4 does not guarantee that you will pass an exam. Pass 4 is not affiliated with SOPEEC, Technical Safety BC, or any other exam or licensing body.
06 Liability
Pass 4 is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, 1469426 BC LTD's total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
07 Changes
We may update these terms. The date below shows the last change. If a change affects a paid plan you hold, we will email you before it applies.
08 Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and of Canada.
